Food for Friends

As a method of giving back to our communities, the Pointe Coupee Parish Library collects “Food For Friends.” During November and December, the library accepts non-perishable items at any of our locations to be distributed by Local Food Pantries to those in need. This vital community project began in 1993 and has been a tremendous success since its inception. For each overdue library item, patrons are asked to donate a canned food item. Review our Food for Friends library policy to learn which items to donate.

Food for Friends volunteers handle canned goods and other non-perishable items to be distributed by food pantries.
