The Pointe Coupee Parish Library offers a wide array of services to children, teens and young adults.  No matter where you live in Pointe Coupee Parish, there is a public library in your community.

Every Library has a large collection of picture books, easy readers, fiction and non-fiction, videocassettes, audiocassettes, DVDs, Playaways and CD-ROMs for all children, teens, and young adults. The Pointe Coupee Parish Library also offers a wide variety of specialized databases just for homework assistance.

The Library’s annual Summer Reading Program is a fun time of special events, contests and reading adventure. The Summer Reading Program begins the 1st Monday of June and runs through the last Friday of July. The Library conducts various performances as well as story times throughout the months of June and July. Check out our online calendar for programs, locations and times in your area.

The summer is also busy with lots of school assigned reading. Contact your local public library for a listing of assigned titles. The Pointe Coupee Parish Library makes every attempt to have copies available for required summer reading titles.

Public access computers provide homework support for students under 16. Internet access on a filtered terminal is available in every Library. Suitable sites for use by children and their parents have been identified by Library staff members. Library Databases are great resources for homework help.
